1 Sherry refused at least 3 times to speak w. Me. Wanted to speak with my minor daughter. When I handle the insurances. This wasted valuable time. I am her Mother.

2 She claimed went to Medicaid site was referred to Amerigroup site where she determined that Lonnecia was ineligible. I maintained that she was eligible.

3 I ended up calling Amerigroup who verified that Lonnecia was in fact eligible. I verified this thru automated service, and then verbally. AND that her eligibility was in fact showing on their site.

4 I called Sherry back to give her this information. And I inquired as to what Web address she was using. She indicated to me that she does plenty of these verifications and that she knew what site to go to. She was very argumentative.

I repeatedly asked for the Web address she was using. I asked if it was a secret??? Told her I was just trying to get to bottom of the problem. She still refused me the information.

I verified that she was using the correct member number. She with attitude verified that she had the right number. But still insisted that she knew what she was doing.

At first, she thought I was giving a phone number to call for Amerigroup, and prematurely, vehemently objected, before she realized what number I was giving her. STILL MORE TIME WASTED.

5 She suggested I call Amerigroup back. I called Amerigroup back. I learned that a Vendor Denta Quest was involved. And that Sherry would need to verify with their site .

6. I called Sherry back with this information. She told me that we could get on a 3 way with DentaQuest. But she refused to initiate the call. She told me I had to call. What difference could this make? It was to be a 3 way call?


I hung up and called DentaQuest, at which time it became necessary for me to contact Amerigroup again. However,
their automated service said eligible, it was also Verbally verified...she was eligible. At this point Amerigroup and DentaQuest decided on a Conference call to Sherry at Your office. They verified ALL INFORMATION that I had been giving to Sherry. And facilitated the necessary faxes. One from Amerigroup, one from DentaQuest. MORE TIME.

6. After receiving Fax Sherry calls back to say all verified. But because Lonnecia is pregnant a VOD????? was needed from her OB/GYN. I gave her doctor's information.

7. Sherry calls back....our doctor's office closed at NOON. It was then 2pm. We had been at this since 10Am I told her. Now we were being told Lonnecia would have to SUFFER through the WHOLE WEEKEND with pain.

As I see this, it is ethically and morally WRONG. We should have never been treated this way.
