Dear Dr. Archer,

Oh, so many years have passed since you became our family dentist. My family moved to Tennessee from Minnesota in 1972 and I needed a dentist shortly thereafter. I don't recall exactly when, but I had four front teeth crowned. I'm writing to let you know that the quality of your work is outstanding!! The first incident with any of those crowns was Thursday night while eating a crunchy crust of pizza and the lower porcelain edge of the upper right front tooth broke off. I saw my new dentist yesterday and he filed down the rough edge. That crown lasted 43 years!!! The dentist was shocked, saying they generally last 15 years, maybe 20, but this is the first he's heard of a 43-year old crown..

I moved in September from Charlotte, NC, to Lexington, SC, to live close to my daughter, Nicole, and her family. "Nicki" was only 1-1/2 years old when we became patients in your office. She and her husband have two beautiful daughters, ages 16 and 20, who have beautiful natural teeth like Nicki. Our family always appreciated your excellent work and friendly disposition. When my oldest daughter, Gingi, finished college, she returned to "our" Dr. Archer for her dental care. Your reputation supports the caliber of expertise and personality, and I'm not surprised you're still in business in Mt. Juliet doing what you do best!

You've worked long and hard for a long time and I see by your posted schedule you work five full days per week. Most dentists I've encountered in the past many years close on Friday. I hope you'll enjoy a terrific retirement when you decide to close shop!
